Merry Christmas friends and family! We love you all! Thank you for your concern, love, prayers, thoughtful words and support whenever Bruce or I have a weak moment. This year we pray that we all have a wonderful Christmas. On this day we remember the birth of Jesus, our Savior, the lifeline to our Heavenly Father, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. With everything that has happened, this Christams I am greatful Bruce and I took the time to meet Jesus. In times like this it helps to realize that life is a gift, but how you live it is a choice. Bruce and I have asked God into our hearts and never have been alone since.
There is nothing better than our Hevenly Father's love. Nothing purer. Nothing as satisfying. Through his grace, mercy, blessing and strength we can face anything. There is a lot in front of us right now, but our faith stands stronger than ever. This is one journey I couln't imagine going through without God.
Thank you friends and family. Your love to us is like hugs and kisses. We truly are blessed having you and your love. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! FROM THE STEEGSTRAS

Merry Christmas to you Bruce and Shelly. You remain in our prayers. Your faith will get you through all of this and I know it will make you stronger. I am sure it is tough being apart, but know you are together in spirit. God bless you both. As we celebrate the birth of our Lord, may we all count our blessings. We are so thankful that you both survived that terrible accident. Keep fighting.

Aunt Shelly,
The thoughts you post are inspirational. You are an example of faithfulness.
You remain in our thoughts and prayers...
Bruce & Shelly,
So glad to hear that ya'll are hanging in there with the Lord Jesus by your side. With our youngest son, Matthew, dying October 24, Dan and I understand how important it is to have the lifeline of Jesus in our lives. Again, thank you for this blogging life line to both of you so your family and friends can be updated on your progress. Our prayers are continuing that the Lord guides each of the doctors' wisdom and hands in their care for both of you. Know that both of you are very special to all of us who read this blog. God Bless both of you and hugs all around.

Merry Christmas to you Bruce and Shelly. Our prayers are with you both and for your doctors as they do incredible things. Hang tough, your spirt and faith will see you through this journey. Mark & Shirley Johnson -#271 Raindance.
Bruce and Shelley,
I've been praying for you two since I first found out. I tried leaving a message a while back.
I stashed your golf cart battery charger as soon as I saw it was unlocked. Tonight at 7PM I covered your water pipes. We had frost on the roof of our car at 11PM. At 11:30 PM it was already below freezing.

Just before the accident and immediately following my knowledge of it, I emailed your personal addy. That was before I learned of its seriousness. The gist of the second message was that you were being tested. I warned you not to lose your faith. I see by your posts, Shelley, that this will not be a problem. Pass this test and your lives will be made easier.
Much Love from Erick (and Mikki)
